Role
You will lead MeetCarbon’s IoT platform for massive energy-device ingest and real-time processing. Design a unified thing model, protocol ingest and edge-cloud collaboration so multi-vendor devices onboard fast. You will push message-path availability, latency and consistency for dispatch and carbon accounting. We want industrial experience turned into platform capability that scales.
Responsibilities
- Plan IoT layers and technical boundaries
- Design a unified thing model and onboarding/governance
- Build high-throughput message paths with reliable device-to-cloud data
- Improve edge gateway and cloud collaboration
- Capacity assessment and scale-out standards
- Guide teams through protocol compatibility and stability
Requirements
- Bachelor or above in automation or CS
- 5+ years IoT platform or industrial-internet architecture
- MQTT, Modbus, OPC UA and related protocols
- Distributed messaging and HA clusters
- Energy IoT platforms preferred
- Abstraction skill and cross-team technical influence
