Tap to record carbon

Card behaviour is the highest-frequency, most real low-carbon data source inside an organisation. We turn those acts into standard events and hand them to the carbon-benefit methodology engine, so every point is traceable.

Boundary

The card collects and displays; methodology and the ledger sit in carbon-benefit

This boundary must stay sharp. Otherwise the same abatement is counted twice, and the customer cannot prove disclosure.

Card side

Behaviour collection, event standardisation, device evidence, C-end display and B-end scene boards.

  • Device ingest and weigh / meter reads
  • Event de-duplication and catch-up
  • Card face and points display
Carbon-benefit side

Methodology definition and version, abatement accounting, points ledger, mall and redemption.

  • Methodology engine
  • Points and abatement ledger
  • Redemption and write-off

Point conversion and abatement rules have one source: the carbon-benefit system. The card must not invent a second language.

Standard event model

One event states six things

The event model is the carbon-fusion contract. If a scene can produce these six fields, it can join the carbon account — no per-scene accounting logic.

1Subject

Who produced the act (cardToken; no plaintext identity)

2Time

Precise timestamp for cycle aggregation and de-duplication

3Place

Organisation, building, point — for spatial roll-up and board drill-down

4Device

Which device collected it — a key evidence-chain link

5Act type

Scene code that selects the methodology

6Evidence strength

Device / transaction / manual; weak evidence does not go into external disclosure

Three evidence grades

Device evidence

Weigh stations, smart meters, access control, chargers — usable in external disclosure.

Transaction evidence

Spend ledgers, signup and check-in inside the system — usable for internal incentives.

Manual evidence

Manual registers and self-reports — campaign ops only; source must be labelled.

Scene-to-act mapping

Seven scenes, each with its own carbon handle

The first carbon act worth doing is not the same in every scene. Picking the first handle well beats turning on ten scenes at once.

Smart recycling stations and canteen weigh stations are the two devices worth connecting first: tap, weigh and sort are complete, evidence is strong, and participation motives are clear.

C-end and B-end experience

Users can read it; managers can report it

If carbon is only a number, users will not trust it and managers cannot brief it. Both ends must drill down to evidence.

B-end · Scene carbon board

  • Participation and abatement by organisation, building and cohort
  • Trends for canteen clean-plate rate, recycling drop-off volume and other scene metrics
  • Export statistical language for scoring reports and external disclosure
  • Anomaly detection: device offline, data jumps, duplicate reports
Compliant wording

Do not over-claim carbon

Carbon-benefit programmes reach the public. Loose wording creates greenwash risk. The platform hard-constrains copy.

Your carbon assets are tradable
Carbon points can be redeemed in the points mall
Carbon-neutrality certified
Cumulative abatement is accounted by platform methodology
Carbon points equal X yuan
Redemption ratios follow mall rules

Wording notePoints and abatement are two different quantities: once abatement is converted to points it cannot be reversed, so double counting is avoided.
