Regional Hub · regional carbon-benefit adapter

In-organisation abatement can enter the provincial / city platform

Provinces and cities have been standing up unified carbon-benefit platforms. We provide a regional adapter: push in-organisation low-carbon acts up, and pull official points back for display, so the customer does not become a closed island.

Why connect is required

The customer is scored on the official platform, not in our system

Governments, sub-districts and public institutions are scored on official-platform participation and abatement. If in-organisation acts cannot be reported, the system — however good — scores nothing.

Scoring language lives on the official platform

Participants, abatement and campaign coverage are taken from official-platform data.

Users want one redemption place

Official platforms usually have richer redemption outlets; users will not keep two balances.

Methodologies need mutual recognition

If in-organisation methodology differs from the official language, abatement will not be accepted.

Avoid a data island

Customers do not want a new system that disconnects them from the local carbon-benefit ecosystem.

Adapter architecture

One hub; adapters hang by region

Interfaces, fields and methodologies differ by locale. Differences stay in adapters; the business side sees one contract. Adding a region does not change business code.

Business sideOne contract

The card and carbon-benefit system produce behaviour and points under one contract; they do not see regional differences.

Regional hubAdapter hub

Identity binding, methodology mapping, sync-job orchestration, retry and reconciliation.

Regional adaptersBy region

Implemented per provincial / city protocol, auth and field language.

Official platformExternal system

The provincial / city carbon-benefit platform holds the points ledger and redemption outlets.

Adapters are delivered per project region and are in planning. The live-region list and feasibility are confirmed at proposal stage.

Two-way sync

Push behaviour up; pull points back

The two directions have different meanings: we push acts and evidence; we pull official point balances. The two point stocks must never be mixed into one number.

Behaviour push

Report in-organisation low-carbon acts confirmed by device evidence, in the official platform’s fields and methodology.

  • Map act types to official methodology
  • Do not push weak-evidence acts
  • Retry and idempotent de-duplication
  • Push results can be reconciled

Points pull

Pull the user’s official-platform point balance for display, and provide a jump to official redemption.

  • Read-only display; we do not custody official points
  • On pull failure, degrade to “temporarily unavailable”
  • Redeem on the official platform
  • No cross-platform point swap
Identity binding and consent

Binding must be user-initiated consent

Linking in-organisation identity to an official-platform account moves personal information across principals. Consent must be explicit and revocable.

1

Start binding

The user chooses to bind the local carbon-benefit platform on the card end

2

Confirm consent

State which behaviour data will sync and for what purpose; the user ticks agree

3

Complete the link

Create the mapping; only necessary identifiers, no plaintext identity detail

4

Unbind any time

Unbind stops further push; already-pushed data follows official-platform rules

Privacy and data minimisation

Data minimisation: only fields needed for methodology accounting
No plaintext name, mobile or ID number
Unbound users’ acts are not pushed
Consent records are retained and auditable
How points are shown

Two point types stay in two columns — never added

Users must know which points spend where. Adding organisation points and official points into one total is the fastest way to complaints.
